ABOUT ME
Born in India, and raised in Malaysia, The Philippines and Hong Kong, I came to Canada as a student in 2012, and settled in Tkaronto ever since. I am deeply invested in equity in the performing arts, having spent my Master's exploring decolonizing paradigms in community engagement and spaces, and founding my own performing arts collective, The Tawoos Initiative
Simultaneously, I worked with performing arts organizations across the city, ranging from programming and curation work in music, film, and visual arts. I have curated projects and festivals with the Aga Khan Museum, Music Gallery, Small World Music, The Indigenous Performing Arts Alliance, Weengushk Film Festival, The Hot Docs Canadian International Film Festival & City of Toronto.
When I'm not working, you'll find me debating acceptable nap lengths with my cats, attending electronic dance parties, and being a chronic host for dinner and movie nights.
